The Charlotte Radio Control Society (CRCS) is a club of radio-control enthusiasts in Punta Gorda, Florida. We build and fly model aircraft at our Shell Creek field, and we are chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA chapter #1297).

Beginners and experienced pilots are both welcome. Free one-on-one flight training is available, with a trainer plane and transmitter provided. Friends and family are always welcome to come watch.

What we fly

Electric foamies, EDF jets, nitro and gas 3D planes (after 9:00 AM), giant-scale gas planes, warbirds, gliders, helicopters and drones. Turbine jets and rockets are not permitted.
