Winds

Well now the field looks beautiful, it is nice and dry, the grass looks really nice. Now if the wind would just lay we all could really be happier.
The field seems to drain so much better, we will keep plugging away untill we get it right.

Field

The field looks great! We had a heck of a good work day Sat. and Sun., Dennis busted his hump running the excavator,His next door neighbor did a great job running the dump trailer, Steve ran the front end loader and we really got a lot done moving dirt and digging ditches. Joe and I mowed, lots of others helped Sat.
Hopefully this will help our drainage problems.
Lets try to get our membership back up, lets fly and have a great time. See ya at the field...

OPENED the field today , parking area and drive area is still a little wet so be careful.

Field

I was at the field yesterday afternoon, it is still pretty wet but is drying fairley quick, we had a large amount of rain so it will take a few more days to dry out. At this time the field is closed, hopefully it will be OK Sat. but no guarentee ..

Was at gate yesterday (3/30/10) and gate was closed and field closed sign was on gate.

Field condition

I checked the field this morning, Tuesday, It is drying up nicely. For now we left the field closed untill the week end. The landing strip is dry but the area around the conax box is still pretty wet, should be dry by week end.

pictures

I think it might be a good idea if we could post some photo's of our models and maybe some descriptions of how they fly or some building tips on their projects.how about members projects? Just a thought.
